Why are LIFE groups important?

God created us to have meaningful relationships with all kinds of people no matter their age, gender or marital status. Jesus surrounded himself with friends of all kinds. They learned together, they prayed together, they touched the community together, they ate together and they laughed together.

The early church in the book of Acts is a great example of why small groups are beneficial to the church community:

Acts 2:46-47
“And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.”

We believe that LIFE Groups are one of the main cornerstones of our church, and we strongly encourage everyone who attends ABF to join a LIFE Group!  We know that real connection happens when we are in smaller groups, which is why we love having LIFE groups at our church!
