Mission Statement

As a church we seek to glorify God and lead people to faith and maturity in Christ by involving them in the biblical priorities of worship, instruction, fellowship, service, and evangelism.

Statement of Faith

WE STAND FIRM IN OUR BELIEF THAT:

THE BIBLE: Every word in the original Old and New Testament Scriptures is inspired by God and without error.

GOD: There is one God, eternally existent in three co-equal persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

THE LORD JESUS CHRIST: The Lord Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man united forever in one person, sinlessly perfect and born of a virgin. His sacrifice was substitutionary taking upon Himself the sin of mankind. He arose bodily from the dead and ascended to His Father’s right hand where He now ministers as our Great High Priest.
THE HOLY SPIRIT: The Holy Spirit is fully God and possesses intellect, sensibility, will, and all the attributes of God. His ministries in the church include the regeneration, illumination, and indwelling of all church-age saints.
HUMAN NATURE: Each member of the human race is sinful and totally depraved, being unable to earn God’s approval by any works of his own. Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely necessary for salvation. It is based upon the finished work of Christ on the cross which is obtained by faith alone.
HOLY SPIRIT BAPTISM: The baptism by the Holy Spirit takes place at the time of conversion and is the act of placing the believer into the body of Christ, which is the Church.
WATER BAPTISM: All believers should be water baptized by immersion as an act of obedience to the Lord and not for the purpose of securing their salvation.
RESURRECTION: The Bible teaches the resurrection of the saved to eternal blessedness and the unsaved to eternal punishment.
THE RETURN OF CHRIST: The personal imminent return of the Lord Jesus Christ to rapture His church will be followed by the Tribulation and the inauguration of Christ’s literal earthly millennial kingdom.
ETERNAL SECURITY: All true believers who have trusted Christ for salvation are eternally saved and kept saved forever.
