“Praise the Lord!  I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, In the assembly of the upright and in the congregation.“ – Psalm 111:1

“Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.” – Colossians 3:16

The Music Ministry enriches the service through praise, worship and devotion in song.  It is the means through which the soul and spirit reach out to God in worship and praise with a song in spirit and in truth.  The Music Ministry assists the worshippers in centering their thoughts upon God.

The Music Ministry exhorts, uplifts, and encourages the body of Christ through song and worship  .We are brought together by a common purpose: to lift up the name of Jesus Christ, to lead God’s people in authentic worship, and to communicate salvation to the lost and encouragement to believers.

Music plays a vital role in our church’s worship, discipleship, and outreach. We want our worship services to be Christ-exalting, transformational, and display the unity of the Spirit. We strive for a balanced array of music that includes traditional and modern, eloquent and simple, familiar and new. Sharing our artistic gifts helps us cultivate a culture around the Word so that Colossians 3:16 is increasingly true of ABF, that “the Word of Christ dwells in us richly“.
